Maria Tucker Exited Episode 3

It was noted at ANTM cycle 19 page in Facebook that Maria Tucker exited during episode 3. (http://www.wetpaint.com/americas-next-top-model/articles/antm-cycle-19-spoiler-which-modelstant-has-already-withdrawn-from-the-competition

Maria Tucker's post-Top Model biographical information is incorrect. Maria graduated from Harvard while the show was filming. She did not return to school, as she had already finished her degree. She is currently the Mobile Editor at AdMonsters. Since 2011, Maria has been signed to Maggie, Inc., a Boston agency that also represents the current Miss USA, Olivia Culpo. Maria has continued modeling and is a regular model on RueLaLa.com. Before appearing on ANTM, Maria modeled for Puma, Reebok, Karmaloop, EF Language Schools, Kerastase, and Clark's Shoes - among others. Maria walked in Boston Fashion Week in 2011 and 2012. In 2011, she was selected as one of the Top 10 Most Promising Models in Boston by the Improper Bostonian.

Howdy! I am Karl Emmanuel Camasis, a very big fan of the ANTM cycles since it caught my eye since it started its Cycle 16 on ETC9. By the way, I am a pure blooded Filipino and lives in the Philippines. Here, I would like to request for granting a permission to me to edit the page America's Next Top Model 19. I swear, I will be able to complete the page 'cause, obviously my friends really knows I am a geek follower of the cycles. So, if. Given a chance,I will make your plug-in info source here in Wikipedia complete, full of reliable info for the ANTM followers and supporters like me. Wish to here your reply soon! - Karl XOXO <3 Karlemmanuelcamasis (talk) 10:41, 31 August 2012 (UTC)

Hello, Karl! Unfortunately, there are no exceptions when it comes to semi-protection. If you've had your account for at least 4 days and have 10 edits, you can freely edit the page, so in your case you just need 6 more edits. Until then you have to post whatever you want to change here. A boat that can float! (watch me float!) 11:40, 31 August 2012 (UTC)

My Pedictions

Is there a better way of displaying the breakdown of scores table?

There should be a way of clicking the arrows to order the girls by their total score, their judges score, their social media score, or their challenge score. I realise this makes is complicated, but how about subheadings underneath "Week 1", "Week 2" etc. with each score in a separate box, which would then allow the user to order the girls by each score?

Something like this is what I had in mind. http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y35/binssey/ANTM19scoringsheetproposition.jpg

We use bold and green to denote the highest score in any category, and red and italics to denote the lowest score in any category like in Strictly Come Dancing (example - http://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/Strictly_Come_Dancing_(series_7)), and grey out the boxes of girls no longer in the competition, so it also gets rid of the ugly colourings - something I thought the editors of these pages were in favour of. It also allows the user to order the girls by any category, so he can easily see who got the best challenge/judges/social/total score in any given week.

I approve 100% MarkMc1990 (talk) 06:43, 27 September 2012 (UTC)
Is there any other support for this? I've updated the table to show what it'd look like after five weeks of competition:

http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y35/binssey/ANTM19scoringsheetproposition2.jpg I've also added colours so you can see which girl received FCO, which girl was in bottom 2, and which girl was eliminated (if you think these would help). By the end of the competition the table is going to be long and very "number heavy", but I still think this is better than the 'sums' and colour coding we have currently.136.8.33.71 (talk) 08:25, 3 October 2012 (UTC)

About the summaries

Who is writing them?

The grammar is absolutely horrible. I don't mean this to sound offensive, but do the people who take time to write them even speak English as their first language?

I would have corrected some of them, but for the most part they are all a pain to even read. Can someone please fix this?

For example:

After panel, most of the girls brought up the incident about Victoria's health which lead into the tension between Kristin and Victoria. Kelly then informed the girls that they will do a go-sees with some of the biggest designers in Los Angeles, the designers can only book one model but the models can book more than one designers. Victoria tried to impress Whitney Port and tries to outshines Kiara as her partner, Laura broke down as she wants to go to Guess but has a little time to go, but she then won the challenge while Brittany and Victoria did not book any.

The girls go to a prison where they will do a photo shoot which is a fashion mugshot which is also a message for young college students. Victoria got into her character, Kiara shared her experience in a prison when she tried to steal a bracelet. At the panel, Laura redeemed herself as she get the first call-out, Brittany and Victoria (who told the judges that she feels bullied in the house) landed in the bottom two for not booking one of the designers and a bad photo from their potential. Victoria was saved and Brittany was eliminated, but after the elimination Tyra told Brittany that they will reveal the girl that will comeback to the competition but it was cut and will continue next week.

Right off the bat, the summary keeps switching from past to present and future tense. There are also many run-on sentences.

I look forward to never being replied to. 98.223.151.66 (talk) 15:31, 20 October 2012 (UTC)

Do not worry. You should place the Template:Edit semi-protected and one of the Wikipedians can fix the grammar and resolve. ApprenticeFan work 14:08, 21 October 2012 (UTC)
Not done: please make your request in a "change X to Y" format.. Please be specific about the changes you are asking for. RudolfRed (talk) 20:41, 21 October 2012 (UTC)
I was specific. Basically the whole paragraph needs to be re-written.

Example:

  • The girls go to a prison where they will do a photo shoot which is a fashion mugshot which is also a message for young college students.
  • The girls visited a prison where they had to take part in a photo shoot embodying various college crimes.

And so on. I'm sure people who watch this could provide better summaries.98.223.151.66 (talk) 02:53, 22 October 2012 (UTC)

Scoring chart

This is overcolored to the max, we need to remove a lot of the colours suggest limiting it to just the winner each week and not using red and green text. Mtking (edits) 08:29, 22 October 2012 (UTC)

What about the ranking system? Why? Is there a problem? Synthesis? If I have an idea, I will remove the rank immediately. ApprenticeFan work 09:35, 22 October 2012 (UTC)
The issue with the rank here and at the old elimination list is that absent a source is appears to be wp editors original work. Mtking (edits) 09:49, 22 October 2012 (UTC)
Given the 'comeback' situation, the ranks should be removed. I strongly support the use of different colored numbers however, but the 'best judges/fan/challenge score' colors could be dropped. Trafalk09 (talk) 21:58, 22 October 2012 (UTC)

I made a suggestion about this weeks ago which you'll find above on this talk page.136.8.33.71 (talk) 11:05, 23 October 2012 (UTC)
I agree with MtKing. The place section has to go. A girl is returning therefore all the ranks will be changed. It is unfair. The new table is good. Doesn't burn my eyes. The table is for the scores and readers can easily identify which girl got the highest individual score every week. -- I'm Titanium  chat 15:49, 23 October 2012 (UTC)
This is another simpler suggestion (only taking up weekly totals). Easier on the eyes, and it also takes up a lot less room. Trafalk09 (talk) 02:33, 24 October 2012 (UTC)

the use of sliver to indicate who eliminated is redundant as it is shown in the call out table other than that a vast improvement, any more comments ? Mtking (edits) 01:38, 27 October 2012 (UTC)
The new table as of the latest elimination. I think the silver helps in the case of the contestant that was eliminated and later came back. Comments?

No objection to this format, take Trafalk09's point about the silver. Someone should feel free to insert. Mtking (edits) 07:28, 27 October 2012 (UTC)
My only issue with these new tables is the colors used. I personally believe   tomato should be used for the eliminated girl's score to remain consistent with the colors in the call-out table. Why does it make sense to have two different colors signify the same meaning within the same article? Also, the light reddish color used for the highest score seems ironic given that red historically denotes negativity/danger. That said, these tables are a much needed improvement over the messy-looking ones in use before, although I did like someone's previous suggestion of merely separating judge/social media/challenge scores into their own cells to prevent overlap in colors. MarkMc1990 (talk) 19:34, 27 October 2012 (UTC)

This new scoring chart sucks....always changing something that doesn't need changing. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 142.129.80.67 (talk) 23:23, 27 October 2012 (UTC)

I strongly suggest reverting the changes back to the original scoring chart, minus the overuse of colours. The new chart is redundant because whoever scores the highest score is simply the one who was called first in every episode, which can be inferred using the other chart. The new table takes away the information of who had the highest social media, judges and challenge score per week, which is a better, more detailed chart. ZephyrWind (talk) 09:17, 28 October 2012 (UTC)

Leila Goldkuhl

Please note : Continual removal of the fact that Leila Goldkuhl had been eliminated in eps 5 will be viewed as disruptive unless there is clear policy based consensus here is that it should not be included. Mtking (edits) 02:27, 27 October 2012 (UTC)

I don't think Leila should be shaded in episode 9. I think it makes it look like she re-entered the competition at the panel where Victoria was eliminated. It should either be left unshaded or the subtable showing the call-out order for the comeback reveal should be reinstated. MarkMc1990 (talk) 18:17, 9 November 2012 (UTC)

Summary of Episode 11

The girls are challenged to shoot a trial television commercial for the Jamaica Tourist Board, including writing their own script and starring in their own television spot while horse-back-riding in the ocean.

The winner gets to come back to Jamaica to shoot an official television spot that will be broadcast worldwide. Then the models change bikinis for the “Dream Come True” perfume photo shoot where they pose for the chance to appear in the official fragrance ad. At the photo shoot, Nastasia and Leila and Laura struggled. While Kiara wowed Jez Smith.

At panel, Kiara wowed the judges and ultimately earned a best photo and followed by Leila. While Laura and Nastasia landed in the bottom two for their weak photographs, but in the end it was Nastasia who was eliminated for a score lower than Laura. — Preceding unsigned comment added by V-Laboratory (talkcontribs) 07:48, 11 November 2012 (UTC)

  • In episode 1, the pool of 30 girls was reduced to 13 who moved on to the main competition. However, this first call-out does not reflect their performance that first week. Furthermore Victoria was called 11th, but her place in the call-out was edited to be last.
  • In episode 3, Maria refused to participate in the photo shoot and quit the competition. She was therefore not present at panel.
  • In episode 8, all the eliminated girls were brought back to panel after Brittany's elimination, then at the beginning of episode 9, the non-returning girls were revealed in reverse order from lowest to highest social media scores as being Destiny, Darian, Yvonne, Jessie, Brittany and Allyssa until Leila was revealed as the contestant to return.

Partly done: Victoria's total score has been corrected. It's better rounded to two decimal places as this is consistent with the other scores. In future, it would be better if you could simply point out the exact part in the article you want changed (e.g., in this case, "In the results table in the section The Girl Who Gets Pwn'd, please change Victoria's total score from 31.8 to 31.7."). Thank you. Linguist Moi? Moi. 23:11, 14 October 2016 (UTC)

Change Allyssa's Kelly score from 5 to 4. It's wrong. Jhonviloria1996 (talk) 18:26, 15 October 2016 (UTC)

Yvonne Powless is currently signed to Models1 in London under their 'Curves' division. Her model name is Yvonne Simone. Please can you update the record held against her on the Post Top Model Section?
