The picture looks more like mango seed than mango. Is this a picture of dried mango (ambula)? Candleabracadabra (talk) 19:28, 4 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Answering your questions A) It looks like a seed because it is dried and the flesh and the seed look like the same (a thin layer of dried flesh on the skin). B) It is raw mango and not ripe mango, so sour in taste. It is used while cooking curries to make them sour. Hope I answered your questions. --Subha^Utter2me! 11:08, 11 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]
