To say only one member of ACARA has recieved national attention is ludicrous. The Catholic Churches, Episcopalians, Methodists, Presbyterians, Universalists, Scientologists, Atheists, Pagans, Muslims, Hindus, Buddhists, Freemasons, and everybody else have been trying to get this guy, David Grisham fired from his job as security guard for the nuclear disarming facility outside of Amarillo named Pantex. To say only one member of ACARA has recieved national attention is quite bogus considering small teams with hundreds of fans make it on wikipedia while ACARA is backed by thousands of members. Many do not wish to be known publicly for a multitude of reasons.

Jacob Isom was mentioned on the Daily Show, featured on High Times website, featured in High Times Magazine, and flown to New York where he was awarded a medal. His soundbyte "Dude, you have no Quran" is the most popular among kids but the adults know it was ACARAs lawyer (who appeared on the back of High Times previously that got Isom the attention for his good deed. When asked what he always wanted, Isom said, "to be in High Times" and now you know who made that happen)

Sandra Dunn is a well known retired Army "Girl" and is well known for being the first transgender mayoral candidate in Amarillo's history. Has been in national news... all over Amarillo.com, independent news sources, and bi/gay/lesbian/transgender publications... nation wide.

Members of Acara span over a dozen countries, and have had Iraqi citizens stopping by their facebook page to say thank you for rebuking Repent Amarillo's every anti-Islam message so far.

Jeff Blackburn is ACARA's most noteworthy member in my opinion. He's been on the cover of High Times, and is one of the leading ACLU lawyer's in the country. If you do a search for him you won't find a single lawsuit he's touched that didn't turn into millions. He's been all over the news for being pro-legalization of marijuana and ACARAs lawyer.

Micky Winks is a well known underground member and business owner that is well known for his burger joint off historic route 66 and the busiest highway in the United States. Truckers support ACARA cause from coast to coast and started the spin offs... Christians Against Repent Amarillo (CARA)... People Against Repent Amarillo (PARA)... and many more.

Daryl Hurst and Scott Erwin are the leaders, while only well known in Amarillo have been on reliable news stories explaining why they started ACARA on Pro News 7, Channel 10, Connect Amarillo, Amarillo.com, The Independent, examiner.com, the Amarillo Globe Newspaper, and more I'm sure.

Cory Traves is also running for mayor and has been in the news talking about ACARA's message too. Amarillo Globe News article I quoted even mentioned he was heading up the security detail for the Rally at Sam Houston Park.

Repent Amarillo was filmed by ACARA members because he was writing down license plates of club members and harassing them at home/work. This got national attention from Civil Rights groups for obvious reasons. These members of Repent Amarillo were eventually detained and photographed by Homeland Security. David Grisham ended up getting suspended with pay due to the embarassment he posed as a federal employee who was breaking federal laws while he was supposed to be on the clock guarding nuclear weapons out at Pantex.
