[edit]"She was born into a political family when she was five"
Born when she was five?
I believe a period (.) is missing: She was born into a political family. When she was five...

PSUM, PRD Creation
[edit]If this article is correct: United Socialist Party of Mexico, the PSUM formed by the merger of four parties, including the PCM. Thus Amalia García didn't leave the PCM for the PSUM as the article states because the PCM no longer existed and all (or at least most) of its members were now members of the PSUM. The PSUM became the PSM and eventually merged with other groups and became the Party of the Democratic Revolution. So the statement "she went on to be a founding member of the Party of the Democratic Revolution (PRD) when it was created in 1989" is true but misleading, because all the PSUM members who didn't leave were founding members of the PRD. In light of this, the statement "Her political stance became more moderate over time" is not backed up by anything in the article. I don't know much about Mexican politics, so I may be mistaken about this. If anyone has more info or sources please add them/edit the article. If not, I'll edit the article to reflect the info in the United Socialist Party of Mexico article. Danelo 18:17, 14 June 2007 (UTC)
