Short request
[edit]This edit request by an editor with a conflict of interest has now been answered. |
In accordance with Wikipedia’s guidelines I declare that I am working on behalf of Róbert Wessman.
According to BLPCRIME, "A living person accused of a crime is presumed innocent until convicted by a court of law." Therefore, the following line should be rephrased, as the wording currently implies responsibility, which has very much not been established:
- The editor of Mannlif, Reynir Traustason, filed a lawsuit against Wessman.
as the individual responsible for the crime.
The article is also currently missing material clarifying the nature of accusations made against Wessman. The last sentence of the 'Controversies' section should be updated to include appropriate wording indicating the following development:
- In June 2022 Reynir was judged to have seriously violated the code of ethics of the Journalist Association (BÍ) because he had received payments from Halldór Kristmannsson. The Ethics Committee considered that Reynir should not have written on the subject of Wessman given the Conflict of Interest.
