How do I change the name of the article?

The name of the theater has change. There is no longer a "Landmark Theater (Richmond, Virginia)" - it's now the "Altria Theater." How do I change the actual title of the article? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Jackiekru (talkcontribs) 20:14, 24 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Renovation 2012-14

The theater underwent a major renovation from 2012-2014 at a cost of approximately $63 million. The renovation was completed in 4 phases with the theater being closed during the major phases scheduled during the off-season [summers] of the 2012-13 and 2013-14 theater seasons. When the theater was open, work continued on areas of the theater not affected by the theater being open.

Phase one of the renovation started in July 2012 and continued through April 2013. Phase two started in May, 2013 completing in mid-October. Phase three began in October 2013 and completed in April 2014. Phase four started in May, 2014 with the major phases of the project completing at the end of October, 2014.

During the early phases of the project, the entire orchestra level of the theater was renovated including the re-positioning and replacement of the seats to allow more room for patrons. The Orchestra pit was also modified to improve the audience experience. All seat cushions were removed and re-upholstered, and seat-backs were replaced with longer backs more suitable to today's adults.

Other major changes include all new air handling equipment, upgraded electrical and plumbing systems, as well as major work on the facade and the roof. Later phases of the project included new state-of-the-art fire detection and security equipment.

Major work in the later phases of the project included changes to the Grand Tier and balcony seating, installing a new Concession stand in the Grand Tier, and improving Concessions in other areas as well. The new ticket office offers inside waiting for patrons buying tickets vs. waiting outside in the weather at the old ticket office.

In the last phase of the project, the entire ballroom was remodeled including the addition of a reception room featuring a new concession area. Optional windows to the ballroom itself can be opened offering concession access to patrons without leaving the ballroom if the event in progress lends itself to it. A new, fully equipped kitchen on the ballroom level serves up to 1000 in the ballroom.

During theater events, a closed circuit broadcast of the 'on-stage' performance can be viewed from television monitors located at all concession and lounge areas for patrons visiting the concessions or are otherwise not yet seated.

The space built to accommodate the bowling alley was converted to be used for new air handling equipment. The space built originally to accommodate the pool was converted to back storage.

The theater reopened on Sunday, November 2, 2014 with a performance of ' ? ' followed on Tuesday, November 4 with the opening performance of 'The Book of Mormon'.
