This man is an belgian and in Belgium write the people Van Gele or Van Gelé ( rare) but Van Gèle it is impossible in french and in dutch. The english historian Barbara Emerson in Léopold II le royaume et l'empire ISBN 2 8011 0287 5 édition Duculot Paris Gembloux, used also the name Alhonse Van Gele (p.180-181)without accent . This woman write in 1980 and you give me books of 1880. If you prefer Van Gèle thère are many problems fot the belgians and the people who speaks french or dutch to find this man on Wikipédia. See whats happend : the articles in english is alone and they are many artiles in deutch, swedich, bulgarian.
