Ives

[edit]

In 1970, Aloys recorded Charles Ives's Concord Sonata with Theo Plumacher, viola, and Willy Schwegler, flute, performing the optional obbligatos.[1] I don't see that in his discography.Treethinker (talk) 02:18, 19 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Do please add this, since you have the relevant data. No need to ask permission first.—Jerome Kohl (talk) 06:03, 19 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Date of death

[edit]

We can not give his day of death as 24 August. I read that he died (without a date) it in a printed medium that day, so it must have been earlier, and we don't know when. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 06:13, 25 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Right. Aloys Kontarsky seems to have died 22 August 2017 according to his descendants' edit attempts on de-Wikipedia [1], [2], but confirmation is outstanding. --FordPrefect42 (talk) 07:31, 25 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]
