How this page was originally created

This was a page in the Portuguese WP that was translated using some online translation service, and was never even revised for proper, standard English language prose. It was still in the original, raw "machine prose" mode. I've just finished a first cursory revision of the page in English. Now, finally reading the original pt.wikipedia page from which it was trsnslated, I see there is still a lot of room for improvement...
