Wrongly translated name?
[edit]The original article seems to have been a translation from the Swedish article for Mandelpotatis (Mandel being Almond).
The European Cultivated Potato Database has no entry for Almond but there is an entry for a Swedish potato called Mandel [1]. I suggest that this article should be renamed Mandel potato. --JBellis 19:53, 31 October 2007 (UTC)
- Plenty of hits for "almond potato" and plural in a Google Books search. But shouldn't we move this to "Almond potato"? The current "Almond (potato)" suggests that they are simply called "almonds", which I doubt, and which does not match the first sentence of the article. Equinox ◑ 07:59, 3 December 2016 (UTC)

Iran and North Korea
[edit]I removed "This kind of potato is the most common in Iran and North Korea." No source and very different environment in Iran and North Korea.--Ankara (talk) 15:33, 19 May 2010 (UTC)
