Merger with Alloenzyme
[edit]The two terms are synonyms (see [1]) but I am not sure how mergers are done here at the english wikipedia. The other page was created first, but this one has a longer history of edits. Which title has priority? GoEThe (talk) 21:23, 24 March 2011 (UTC)
Hi I've been writing medical dictionaries for nearly 30 years; I often faces dilemma of what to call a particular disease, process, clinical maneuver and so forth. While priority should be considered, ultimately and user preference should take the day. What I tend to do in my work is to Google the term, and if there is clear preference of one term, despite priority over another, then that is the name I give to the entity. While alloenzyme has priority, allozyme is far preferred (at least as far as numbers is concerned), so the people have spoken and allozyme should be preferred JC Segen, MD — Preceding unsigned comment added by Jcsegenmd (talk • contribs) 14:32, 14 May 2012 (UTC)
