Hungry Hill
[edit]The article on Daphne du Maurier says her 1943 novel Hungry Hill (made into a film in 1947) is based on Allihies. Should that be mentioned here? Peter Bell (talk) 08:44, 22 March 2014 (UTC)
- The novel is already mentioned in the broader Beara Peninsula article. To be honest I think this is the best place for it. Hungry Hill (the hill rather than the novel) is actually some distance from Allihies. Several other Beara villages/towns/etc are closer. The article on the novel refers to a possible connection to an Allihies family - rather than a specific connection to the village. Guliolopez (talk) 13:46, 22 March 2014 (UTC)
- Okay, happy with that. Peter Bell (talk) 05:48, 26 March 2014 (UTC)
