- Dear Editor,
- Suddenly "multiple issues" appeared on my Wikipedia Page: https://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/Allen_Kay
- The page has been unblemished for decades. I have tried to get the page as it was but have been unable to. This is very disconcerting.
- To begin with, two links that were added under "Industry and charitable affiliations aren't relevant:
- 7. The Xerox "Monk" commercial was inducted into the Clio Hall of Fame in the late 1970's. The company was sold many times since then. Each time in disarray. Many archival records were lost so they don't appear on their website.
- 9."The Early History of Smalltalk." Archived July 10, 2008, at the Wayback MachineWelcome to the Gagnés'! (accessed December 5, 2009) – Relates to Alan Kay, the computer scientist, not me.
- None of the issues in the box at the start are warranted nor correct.
- 1) "A major contributor to this article appears to have a close connectionwith its subject. (April 2022)" - Untrue. The author of the article had no connection with me at all. It was assembled by an NYU post-graduate marketing major who was aware of my work and asked if he could submit a page.
- 2) "This article contains wording that promotes the subject in a subjective manner without imparting real information. (April 2022)" - Incorrect. There are no opinions expressed. All of the career information is factual and documented.
- 3) "This article relies too much on references to primary sources. (April 2022)" - Isn't that how it's supposed to be?
- 4) "This article may rely excessively on sources too closely associated with the subject, potentially preventing the article from being verifiable and neutral. (April 2022)" – Incorrect. the article does not rely on sources too closely associated with me. They are all neutral and footnoted.
- Aside from that, I've tried many times to add "The Art of Selling," the title of the Washington Post article, but it hasn't changed.
- I would be extremely grateful if you would correct this embarrassing situation as soon as possible.
- Thank you advance, Allen Kay Allen Kay (talk) 22:35, 15 May 2022 (UTC)
