Significance and notability.

  • There is no evidence that this artist meets WP:N.
  1. The person is regarded as an important figure or is widely cited by peers or successors.
  2. The person is known for originating a significant new concept, theory, or technique.
  3. The person has created or played a major role in co-creating a significant or well-known work or collective body of work. In addition, such work must have been the subject of an independent book or feature-length film or of multiple independent periodical articles or reviews.
  4. The person's work (or works) either (a) has become a significant monument, (b) has been a substantial part of a significant exhibition, (c) has won significant critical attention, or (d) is represented within the permanent collections of several notable galleries or museums.
  • The significance of the works of this artist is not supported by any independent references.
  1. Children's book "Fairy that Sneezed" was published by a self-publisher, and evidence of any reviews promoting its significance.
  2. Eco-Arts garden is supported by artist's own website, and also does not include independent reviews confirming its notability.
  3. Documentary films have received no awards and reviews of their significance.

Hi Artwanker! Thanks for your diligence in making sure this article meets Wikipedia's notability criteria. I would agree that Baltran's own books (The Fairy That Sneezed, etc) would not in themselves make her notable as an author or artist. However, her Weld Angel protest has received a considerable amount of critical attention from scholars analyzing it as performance art.
