[edit]As an editor at Crawdaddy!, and to comply with COI guidelines, I am not posting the link to this review of Modern Skirts' All of Us in Our Night. However, I would like to recommend it on its merits, and hope that an editor will find the time to examine the review and—if he or she sees fit—post it to the professional reviews section. I appreciate your time. Crawdaddy! (negative) [1]

I understand your argument in that review. But, just as you expected to hear something else in this record, I expected to read an actual album review instead of a critique of the band's PR. Is it too much to expect that from a music reviewer, or do we all want to be Pitchfork nowadays?
Alright, so they're from Athens and they're not Neutral Milk Hotel, but that doesn't justify comparisons to Coldplay. Yes, they write catchy melodies and they're not offensive enough for mainstream outlets to shun them, but there's still more going on here. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.152.233.77 (talk) 14:05, 23 November 2009 (UTC)
