well, since I´m bolivian I´m aware of the improvement of the work that alison spedding just being doing lastly. firs we have several important works like "no hay ley para la cosecha" wrote along David Llanos, who probably isn´t relevant for englishspeakers. also we have a sci-fi novel that takes place in bolivia and mixes elements of andes antropology plus anarch-feminism. there are many details on the work of spedding, what i would like to know is if an update of the article would be neccesary or someway valuable
"Academics widely considered the arrest was politically motivated and campaigned for her release. She was released in 2000 on payment of a surety."
It looks as if preceding material relating to "the arrest" has been removed. I was previously aware through SF Fandom circles that Spedding had been arrested for drug possession or dealing, but know of no Reliable Sources and, in view of the shortness of this Article, am reluctant merely to trawl the history for material to reinstate, as it really needs someone with more knowledge and sources to expand the whole thing. {The poster formerly known as 87.81.230.195} 185.74.232.130 (talk) 18:12, 1 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]
