Speedy Deletion

[edit]

Hello. Could you delete Alina Smith so I can move Alina there? The article was duplicated. I'm guess I didn't put the right CSD tag on it. Which tag would be correct for this issue. Could you delete the page and reply on my talk page. Thanks so much. --Dan LeveilleTALK 11:11, 30 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

No. Merge in content from other article, using appropriate edit summeries, and then change other article to redirect. עוד מישהו Od Mishehu 11:25, 30 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
But then we'll lose all the history from the original article. This article was the duplicate. --Dan LeveilleTALK 11:26, 30 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
So check if there is any new information in this article. If there is, merge it into the other one. עוד מישהו Od Mishehu 11:35, 30 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
The appropriate article name is Alina Smith, not Alina. We want Alina to redirect to Alina Smith, but since Alina has all the history, we don't want it to be the one redirecting. The articles are identical (minus the templates) - there's nothing to merge. --Dan LeveilleTALK 11:38, 30 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I've just asked at WP:AN about this. עוד מישהו Od Mishehu 11:40, 30 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

NPOV

[edit]

This article was tagged as an autobiography, not conforming to the WP:NPOV policy, and in need of copy editing. I have edited it extensively to make it more encyclopedic, and proper references have been established. Please do not reinsert the old text, as it was unreferenced and written as if it were taken from a fansite. All information on WP must be written from a neutral perspective, and be verifiable. Awesome job. It looks much better. Thanks --Dan LeveilleTALK 02:36, 2 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Alina's Photos

[edit]

If anyone is wondering, the user, Alinamusic that uploaded Alina's photos is Alina. I asked her directly and she said the images she uploaded are free for use and that she has the appropriate rights to them. --Dan LeveilleTALK 02:38, 2 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
