[edit]Perhaps this article should be deleted? It says essentially nothing other than giving a definition. Ben Finn (talk) 13:32, 1 March 2015 (UTC)
Defiantly should not be deleted this needs expanding, its a key concept.
Split into "Regulation of algorithms" and "Regulation by algorithm"
[edit]"algorithmic regulation" is ambiguous, and seems to usually mean "regulation of algorithms" rather than "regulation by algorithm". We should have definitely have a page titled Algorithmic regulation (most common title) or Regulation of algorithms (unambiguous use, my personal preference) that's about regulation of algorithms. It's not clear to me that regulation by algorithm" has enough strong sources to meet WP:NOTABILITY at this point (for example, the bbc source is tangential), but we can worry about that after we agree how to split. - Yes, correct! "Algorithmic regulation" should be a disambiguation page and the actual page will be called "Government by algorithm" according to Stanford.Geysirhead (talk) 16:10, 26 March 2020 (UTC)
