Is article title mis-spaced?

[edit]

The fact that Alfred I. duPont is a redlink should have been a clue. The article for him is at Alfred I. du Pont, and nobody has even seen fit to create a redirect from the redlink that was in this article. I'm guessing this article is mis-named. Gene Nygaard 02:14, 25 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Article Title

[edit]

1. The title should be in the plural:

a. because it is written as such in the organization's own writing (as indicated in the box, with the web-site reference)

b. because several batons are awarded each year: each is an award, but each year multiple awards are made [discuss...]

2. It would be a kindness to use the short-form in the re-direct title, as used in the web-site itself, viz.: duPont-Columbia Awards;

the formal, full, long-form title would be in bold in the first line of text, viz.: Alfred I. duPont-Columbia University Awards
