Party convention

[edit]

EEng, please help me understand the question. Regional party conventions - the German equivalent is de:Parteitag, and it really doesn't matter which political party, just give an idea of how large a facility it is to house such meetings. I read that in English it's "party conference" or "political convention". Would you prefer one of those? Gerda Arendt (talk) 21:48, 30 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I'm sorry, Gerda, it was a particularly cheap joke related to German history circa 1933-1945. I don't know what came over me. I've removed it. Kisses. EEng 00:27, 31 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
I'm sorry I missed any joke. "Regional" for Hamm means NRW which didn't exist at that time, - I missed it completely. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 08:19, 31 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
