Could use some more references but I believe this article should be C class. C. Williams (talk) 09:40, 15 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

See "The Man Who Changed How Boys and Toys Were Made: The Life and Times of A. C. Gilbert", by Bruce Watson, ISBN 0142003530 —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.16.30.26 (talk) 10:29, 16 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I have downgraded the article to Start class, because the article has a number of problems, including not enough footnotes and writing style issues. With at least two biographies extant, plus various magazine and newspaper articles, there ought to be ample information from WP:RS to improve the article.
