Georgetown University Lecture by Dr. Alexey Valentinovich Ulyukaev, Minister of Economic Development of the Russian Federation, "Looking Forward: Business and Development in Russia"
[edit]Alexey Valentinovich Ulyukaev received his doctoral degree from the Economics Department of Lomonosov Moscow State University. In 1991he began working for the government as an official adviser on economic affairs. By 1998 he was Deputy Director of the Institute for Economy Issues during the Transition Period. In 2000-2004 he served as the First Deputy of the Minister of Finance of the Russian Federation and from 2004-2013 he was the First Deputy Chairman of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation. Minister Ulyukaev has served as the Minister of Economic Development since June 24, 2013.[1]
