What can I do to establish notability for this article?

[edit]

I noticed that my article was recently flagged as potentially not meeting the notability guidelines. What can I do to further establish notability? The "Activism" section already includes a number of references to reliable and respected secondary sources, including Billboard Magazine, the Chicago Tribune, Pitchfork, and others.

Perhaps if I move the Activism section to the top of the article, his notability will be more readily evident? I realize some of the information I provided may seem a bit esoteric, but I've done my best to source all of it and illustrate its relevance. I'm new to Wikipedia, so I apologize if I haven't done all I could.

Update: I preemptively removed some un-cited material and re-arranged the article in the hopes of establishing further notability. I also removed the citation referring to Maiolo's business, which I realize now could have been perceived as a promotional/COI edit. (To be fair, it was a good-faith attempt on my part to establish his experience in the insurance field, not an attempt to advertise his business. However, since I realize now it could be viewed as such, I'm happy to take it down until further notice.) --Mercurylanes (talk) 21:17, 7 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Follow the audit trail to see who flagged the notability warning and write on their talk page to force them to answer you or they can drop it.Greenshinobi (talk) 20:30, 24 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Looks like it was User:supertouch, who's page says RETIRED and no longer on Wiki. Since no one has stepped up to argue about NON-notability, I say we yank the warning.Greenshinobi (talk) 20:31, 24 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
