Use of diacritics in article's title
[edit]- This is the English Wikipedia, and according to the policy of WP:COMMONNAME and Wikipedia:Naming conventions (use English), this article does not use the subject's name as it might be spelled in Slovenian (with diacritics) as its article title; it instead uses the name that is most frequently used to refer to the subject in English-language reliable sources. This includes usage in the sources used as references for the article. Dolovis (talk) 12:51, 13 May 2011 (UTC)
- This is an English encyclopedia, and as such it does not spell foreign names the way that sports organisations and the lower segment of the press do, but the way that serious encyclopedias such as Britannica and Encarta do: With the diacritics. Hans Adler 15:08, 19 June 2011 (UTC)
