Aromanian populations that lived near Albanian-inhabited regions and wanted to be included in the Albanian state.

[edit]

Gaius Claudius Nero, will you please be so kind to translate below sentence you used to support the claim about "Aromanian populations that lived near Albanian-inhabited regions and wanted to be included in the Albanian state."

Mbasi Vlleht që janë në rreth t’Shqypëniës e kanë çfaqun dishirin e tyne të jetojnë ne shtet t’onë te lirë?

Please take in consideration Nopcsa's notes on the Albanian Congress of Trieste also alredy used as source in the article about " a dispute between the Vlachs and Albanians" "which Faik overcame in favour of the Albanians by presenting the Vlachs more or less with an ultimatum" if you have any doubt how to properly translate above mentioned sentence.--Antidiskriminator (talk) 20:59, 7 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Translation: Since the Vlachs that live around Albania have expressed their desire to live in our free state.--— ZjarriRrethues — talk 21:25, 7 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you very much ZjarriRrethues for this translation. Is it possible that you misinterpreted the source because "our free state" does not correspond with "the Albanian state", and "Albanian-inhabited regions" does not correspond with "Albania"? I think that your quote is only a part of the sentence from the proposed agenda of the congress. Are you sure that you can attribute a desire to live in "Albanian state" to the Aromanian population "that lived near Albanian-inhabited regions" because it was proposed by the agenda of the congress? Again, before you answer on my questions, please take in consideration above mentioned Nopcsa's notes describing "a dispute between the Vlachs and Albanians" "which Faik overcame in favour of the Albanians by presenting the Vlachs more or less with an ultimatum".--Antidiskriminator (talk) 22:53, 7 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
The first decision deals with the state entity, which is Shqypënia e Madhe in the text.--— ZjarriRrethues — talk 22:58, 7 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Will you please be so kind to translate the name of the state entity on English (does it mean "Albanian-inhabitated regions")? --Antidiskriminator (talk) 08:23, 8 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
