Source

[edit]

This article from The Wire magazine, while obviously favourable to Douglas (it's reproduced on his website) is probably the most detailed source available on his career and could perhaps help balance out all the unfavourable stuff that has been written in various Hendrix biogs.--Pawnkingthree (talk) 01:10, 25 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The link seems to be to a different producer named Alan Douglas. 69.171.160.99 (talk) —Preceding undated comment added 18:27, 27 August 2010 (UTC).[reply]

You're wrong - it's definitely the right man. Just read it, it's plain.--Pawnkingthree (talk) 11:31, 16 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Death

[edit]

This article really needs work as he just passed away. I found his credits listed from Hendrix to Clapton, also has several Grammy accreditations he won from http://www.allmusic.com/artist/alan-douglas-mn0000524892/credits. Hope that helps out.Sunnydoo (talk) 12:09, 10 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Youtube interview of Mr Douglas. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CbehIqGjvNo&feature=youtu.be . Sunnydoo (talk) 12:18, 10 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Also found French newspaper source confirming his death for Saturday. Says he lived in the 14th arrondissement. This article covers a lot of his Lost Prophet and Parliament work. http://www.funku.fr/2014/rip-alan-douglas-1931-2014/ Sunnydoo (talk) 13:12, 10 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]
I also saw that he was the producer of one of Jerry Garcia's albums as well. http://www.dimple.com/rel/v2_viewupc.php?storenr=391&upc=366034112686 Sunnydoo (talk) 13:15, 10 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]
