Seems to me that the in the Public Enemy album Fear of A Black Planet Alan Colmes' radio show is sampled in the song "Incident At 66.6 FM". The clip in question is Colmes talking about Public Enemy and phone calls to the show about Public Enemy in what is an apparent interview with Chuck D. Is this entry worthy? Colmes has also admitted to USA Today that he's really more of a moderate than a liberal.

Name of show

Indeed, before Colmes was hired, staffers for the show referred to it as "Hannity and Liberal to be Determined."

I could find no neutral source for this quote - closest I could come is a Google search of 6 biased websites.

Radical?

Given that Colmes is considered a "lightweight" liberal in the article several times, and by several sources, it seems odd to have him named a "radical" in the opeining sentence. Esjones 18:51, 6 August 2005 (UTC)

This Article is Too Critical of Colmes

This article is much too critical of Colmes-- I think he deserves a lot of credit of having the courage to enter the 'Lions Den' from his point of view. I think it takes a lot of guts to work in an environment surrounded by your adversaries like Colmes does.

I'd love to see some sources from people who praise his courage rather than running him down.

I used to watch The Hannity and Colmes show on occasion. He is not a very good liberal commentator, and is not very good at arguing. Its like they say in the article, he was always so bad that it just seemed like he was intentionally losing. He would to push some meaningless point by asking a question, and when the people didn't answer the question the way he wanted them to, he just asked the question again. It is still "opinion based" but I don't know of anyone who praises him as a liberal commentator. ZgokE (talk) 08:41, 9 April 2009 (UTC)

Prolife?

I noticed that Alan Colmes is listed as a "pro-life celebrity." This seems a bit odd given his other political beliefs. If there is a source for this, shouldn't it be mentioned in the main article or if not, shouldn't his name be removed from that category?

I was confused by that too. While I respect "maverick" pro-lifers very much (the ones that don't fit the conservative/Christian stereotype), I distinctively remember Colmes calling a pro-lifer "anti-choice".
