Coverage of the Soudah Development Project
[edit]Hi all, I wanted to raise a concern about the current coverage in the article of the development projects in the area being led by the Soudah Development Company.
The edits I have recently made to the article aim to give a fair coverage of the project in light of it being still in early stages. In particular, I don't believe it will warrant its own section within the area's article until the development has bore fruit or has particularly notable coverage in independent media so have moved the main paragraph to the 'Tourism' section at present.
I opted to remove the 'Soudah Season' section in its entirety as this seemed purely to refer to a promotional campaign which does not meet WP:NOTABILITY per se.
Finally, I have asked for a better source than Arab News as the main source of information on the project due to the outlet's proximity to the Saudi royal family and government, who are sponsoring the project, in line with WP:COISOURCE.
Happy to discuss how the project can be better captured in the article going forward and whether I have achieved the right balance, however. Pseudoname1 (talk) 21:36, 11 February 2025 (UTC)
