  • Eastern Province (Cup?): (NOT a CUP) it's a part of the old cup system as a qualification to the finals.
  • Cup, Prince Turki bin Nasser: (NOT NATIONAL) it's a frindly matches played on the club field, with Non-professional teams chosen by alnasser coach and chairman!

i think you didn't read wikipedia policies!

  1. Self-published sources (personal websites, open wikis, blogs, Internet forum, etc) are NOT acceptable.
  2. (History Data and Achievments) Can NOT be considered always as (titles!) there is a difference.
  3. the general manager of SAFF, has explained and denied the validity of alnassr documents. [1]
  4. there wasn't a Saudi Premier League before 1976!

please, don't break the The three-revert rule if you can't fix this article. Sir Najd (talk) 23:57, 31 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I am going to edit the page of our wonder kid Ibrahim Ghaleb and add him to the current squad. Anyone who can offer any private details about him "Such as birth date and his history before joining Al-Nassr's youth squad" don't hesitate :).

Moving the page to Al-Nassr

[edit]

The page might be moved to Al-Nassr instead of the current Al-Nasr which we all know is not the right spelling :). Do you think we should contact an admin for this issue :) ?!

Mohannad (talk) 04:14, 26 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

An admin would need to make the final decision anyway, as it requires one of them to delete the page to move it. Anyway, you say its not the correct spelling, could you provide proof? I see the name on this article as Al-Nassr, even the official club badge shows two s's? Kennedy (talk) 21:15, 26 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Exactly, the badge has two "S's" and the official website of the club is written as"Nassr", plus I am an English-Arabic Translator and one s means "س" while to S's mean "ص" which is the correct letter in Arabic :). Sorry for bothering.

Why are there two squad lists?

[edit]

For some reason there are two squad lists on Al-Nasser's page. One is the current squad and is actually quite updated and linked which is good. The other one though is the squad from the 1990's which shouldn't be here the players don't even play for the club anymore and haven't done so for a number of years. —Preceding unsigned comment added by TKash (talkcontribs) 10:56, 9 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The old squad is Al-Nassr Squad in 2000 FIFA Club World Cup not a repeat.Hms911 (talk) 13:36, 9 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

NPOV Edits

[edit]

I'm seeing many NPOV edits of this article, and other related articles as well, such as the premier league actual beginning. The RSSSF and the Saudi Arabia Football Federation both hold and state that the beginning of the Saudi Premier League was in 1975-76. It was named the Categorization League (الدوري التصنيفي) because it was the first league, thus, it decided who gets to play in the first division. The next season was then officially called the Premier League. According to official records and sources, that was absolutely an official league that was organized by the SAFF, and it was the beginning of the premier league. In other words, 1975-76 was the first Premier League, it was just named differently because it decided who gets to play in it in the next seasons. Add to that, Regional League was different, that was back when Saudi Arabia didn't have functionality to hold a unified league, so it made 3 regional leagues (Western, Middle, and Eastern). King's Cup and Crown Prince's cup are also different, so they shouldn't be merged together. Regards. MedStudentIMAMU (talk) 20:34, 10 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]
