Isn't Evo Morales Ayma one of the winner in 2000? (written "Ivomor Ellis Ima") I've noticed several sources got it wrong, but Libyan news agency lists "LE MILITANT BOLIVIEN DE LA GENERATION DES AMERIDIENS EVO MAURALIS EMA". Least BBC say he got it[1] before 2003. --Mikko Paananen 07:11, 6 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I think the fact that the prize is a counterweight to the Nobel Peace Prize (http://www.weeklystandard.com/Content/Public/Articles/000/000/012/198ikivt.asp) needs to be elaborated. Maybe that explains the questionable selection? Anyway, there are other things in the article (link in previous sentence) that should go into this page.

"Former Leader"

[edit]

Why is he listed as the former leader if his rule is still disputed amongst sources?David copperson (talk) 23:03, 31 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Qadhafi himself sometimes claims that he hasn't held any official governmental position since 1977. Anyway, it will all be moot within a few days... AnonMoos (talk) 23:53, 31 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

he's dead now soo there's that...
