"...and appealed to the pretender Abdallah ibn Zubayr, who, however, succeeded in inducing her to consent to a confirmation of the marriage..." this is POV and is irrelevant to the article at most. i have replaced it with "political contender" as this is exactly what Ibn Zubayr was, and in fact had the majority of the Islamic world under his sway, as opposed to the Ummayids who controlled Greater Syria and parts of Iraq.
