[edit]A few useful facts that could be added to this article include:
How does the title 'Alo Presidente' translate into english?
How long does the show run for?
Some history such as when and how the show began would also be useful.
Good work so far.

English Translation for "Alo Presidente" is "Hello Mr. President" (as if answering a call from the president) The basis of the show is for the "president" or despot (Hugo Chavez) can bore the people of his country for hours on end and show the rest of the world how ignorant and small minded he eyes about how to lead his country.
Fair use rationale for Image:Alo.jpg
[edit]Image:Alo.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

How is the show seen for fairness?
[edit]I'm curious having never seen the show, in phone in segments and others does he allow and respond to criticism, or is it pure positive propaganda? Jinniuop (talk) 19:27, 2 April 2009 (UTC)

Off-air for cancer treatment
[edit]In one of the theses I've introduced as external links (because of their academic and extensive coverage), it is said that the show went off air twice while Chávez was receiving cancer treatments; the initial long period and then again for a little while. Are there also news sources for this? Kingsif (talk) 18:56, 30 September 2019 (UTC)
Possible agenda editing
[edit]An editor (CarlosatUVW) who has identified themselves as an official within United Voices of the World - that article they created themselves on UVW says UVW has a strong association with the Latin American community
and UVW's early growth has been led by staff and volunteers who have spent time in Latin America and are generally sympathetic towards socialist governments
without further explanation - has edited this article introducing pro-Chávez language under the guise of balance. The edits also involved source hijacking, refactoring or completely changing content from what the cited sources said. The article has previously made sure to use scholarly sources from Venezuela and elsewhere, and describes Chávez' charisma etc. without applying value words; they have not provided any sources for their changes and used peacock-y language. Given the editor's official connection to a group which advocates for socialist governments in Latin America, there will be bias, but it could be good faith edits from someone who just believes what they are saying and has forgotten the account they're logged into (...and WP:V); though, given the misleading edit reasons on top of the advocacy account, it could be deliberate agenda editing. - These edits need to be reviewed for removing sourced criticism and adding statements without adding sources. Kingsif (talk) 13:52, 30 March 2022 (UTC)
