Just created this article, feel free to improve it as you see fit
[edit]@CanadianSingh1469 , @Twarikh e Khalsa , @Ronnie Macroni , @Javerine – Hey guys, I just wrote-up and created this article on the first standing Sikh army (Akal Sena) which began with Guru Hargobind. Feel free to edit and improve it as you see fit. I thought you'd all be interested in it seeing as you all are Sikh military history buffs.
Some improvements I think could be made:
1) Convert the current infobox flag image to a more clean-looking .svg file like how other historical flags are displayed (I have no idea how to do this so I have to learn).
2) Add information on the Akal Sena during the short guruship of Guru Har Krishan (not sure if we'll be able to find anything but it's worth a look)
3) Add more commanders and battles fought by the Akal Sena
4) Add more details on the battle styles, uniform, equipment, mechanics, etc of the army

- Good work so far but I will review further when I get a chance. Meanwhile I saw you and Twarikh e Khalsa made an edit by adding this article Battle of Qarawal to article Battle of Darbar Sahib (1764) but the Qarawal article is completely incorrect. Not sure who created it as Qarawal is not a place or location. Qarawal is a contingent or you can say scouts or advance guards that is sent to make preparation for the army that will be marching. And this article is written completely off of Jang Namah, written by Qazi Nur Muhammad who was brought by Abdali and Nasir Khan to write about their victories in return for being made Qazi for territories such as Shikarpur and Deras. The book "Later Studies of Mughal Empire", is basically just a translation of all contemporary sources put together. The article needs to be based off of historian's analysis of these sources and that is why there is article I wrote Battle of Lahore (1764). Hari Ram Gupta in his volumes written later on History of Sikhs showed his analysis after the study of contemporary sources. EVen Ganda Singh provided same analysis. You can read my article to check. - @Javerine An Afghan/Pashtun editor made that article. Perhaps you can bring up those issues with him, his username is Noorullah21. Hope you guys can come to an agreement over the content of the article. I'd suggest reaching common ground and merging one article into another so there's not two separate articles on the same battle.ThethPunjabi (talk) 21:59, 8 March 2023 (UTC)

- @ThethPunjabi I may be wrong but I believe that the correct spelling is Akaal. Ronnie Macroni (talk) 05:25, 13 March 2023 (UTC)
