Merge with Meridiana

[edit]

Since Meridiana announced re-branding into Air Italy, should not the two pages be merged?[1] — Preceding unsigned comment added by Simpatico qa (talkcontribs) 19:37, 19 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Requested move 2 March 2018

[edit]
The following is a closed discussion of a requested move. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section on the talk page. Editors desiring to contest the closing decision should consider a move review. No further edits should be made to this section.

The result of the move request was: no consensus to move the pages at this time, per the discussion below. More evidence is necessary. Dekimasuよ! 01:10, 9 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Air Italy (2005-2018)Air Italy – disambiguation not needed Wind of freedom (talk) 00:43, 2 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

This is a contested technical request (permalink). Simplexity22 (talk) 01:06, 2 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

See these requests at WP:RMT. Those moves were executed, and reverted, the nominator evidently also wants Air Italy to be moved to AirItaly. Simplexity22 (talk) 01:12, 2 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

@Simplexity22: the other user thinks that the airline name is 'AirItaly' but it is actually Air Italy which is clearly stated on the airline website and reported on multiple news reports the only place that 'AirItaly' is used is the username for the airlines Facebook page and I personally do not see this as being enough evidence to warrant the name change. The above discussion is preserved as an archive of a requested move. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section on this talk page or in a move review. No further edits should be made to this section.

For the record, I moved Air Italy (2005-2018)Air Italy (2005–2018). If it terribly offends you that this is under the same heading as the closed discussion, put a new heading above it. —Anomalocaris (talk) 21:46, 13 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]
