[edit]Um, maybe someone should say something about how the kanji for "ai" is not written, probably with the intent of creating ambiguity with the word 愛。 (love being a major theme of the show.)
- Sure, it's an (相乗り / 愛乗り) pun. Why bother explaining it, even a beginner student of Japanese could understand. Certainly anyone who's interested enough to be watching the show would get it. --awh (Talk) 08:28, 17 June 2006 (UTC)
Well yeah. IT could also mean "love crispy seaweed", but that's Japan for you!!!
Country count
[edit]Currently the Japanese ainori page lists Poland as the 71st country, because they're counting Japan as the first. The official word from the show's producers has Poland as the 70th country, so that's good enough for me... --awh (Talk) 02:38, 5 September 2006 (UTC)
- To answer my own post, I changed the Japanese page so that Japan is counted as the 0th country. Let's see how long that sticks. --awh (Talk) 02:42, 5 September 2006 (UTC)
What?
[edit]This is about the "memorable moments" section, entry "summer 2006". You guys say that the incident with Fresh- Boy Tagami (or whatever his name was) was due to particpants finding out during a break from the show in JAPAN? What are you talking about? First, participants don't go home until they leave the love bus. No vacations back to Japan. (Hide was famous for being away from Japan for 18 months when he was on the show.) Second- That girl started getting suspicious about him because the male particpants had told her that in their sleeping room he had been bragging about his girlfriend's existence. The way you have it written is incorrect. Watch the episode again. Generalklagg 13:56, 18 December 2006 (UTC)

Japanese version
[edit]It would seem the Japanese version of this page has been protected after people tried to put in accusations of it being completely staged. I found this information amusing. -Theanphibian (talk • contribs) 21:55, 12 August 2007 (UTC)
