Notable cases: Holcim 160m $

[edit]

It was reported in June 2021 that Cannon ordered Swiss cement company LafargeHolcim to reach a settlement to compensate an American family under the Helms-Burton Act for using the family's property in Cuba, which had been seized by the Cuban government in 1960. Before Cannon's order, no one had managed to secure compensation under the Helms-Burton Act for business property confiscated in Cuba.[31] Holcim laut Bericht vor 160-Mio.-$-Kuba-Vergleich — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2003:DC:F1C:2700:9880:763F:6D97:3F (talk) 17:05, 30 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed Edits

[edit]

Incorrect URL attached to name in subsection "United States v. Trump, criminal case." The final sentence of the final paragraph of the subsection "United States v. Trump, criminal case" hyperlinks to the name "Ty Cobb" but links to the wrong individual, a baseball player who died in 1961 instead of the relevant lawyer Ty Cobb. The Aileen Cannon article has extended confirmed protection of which I don't have access to edit. Citation [131] at the end of the sentence does link to the correct individual. Wikipedia has an article for the correct individual. KinnexusOnW (talk) 20:16, 27 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks, I've changed the link to Ty Cobb (attorney). Esowteric + Talk + Breadcrumbs 20:21, 27 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
