[edit]I have removed the Twitter and Facebook links per WP:ELNO, as they do not provide unique content above and beyond the official homepage which is already linked. ConcernedVancouverite (talk) 17:45, 25 June 2011 (UTC)
- The key word there is "generally". This is not a flat rule. One reason for the use of the word generally is, as is discussed on the talk page of the guideline, generally homepages link prominently to Facebook (#2 in Alexa ratings, and therefore significant) and Twitter (#9) links. That is not the case here. We don't want to deprive our readers of quick access to the links, as is afforded by prominent listing of them here, if not prominently displayed on the homepage.
- Furthermore, as Concerned is seeking to delete the entire page, and the page is in the middle of discussion at AfD, it is a surprising time for Concerned to be edit-warring over deleting material with the page. I would suggest he stop. It has, if nothing more, perhaps the appearance of impropriety, given the timing of his effort.--Epeefleche (talk) 19:17, 25 June 2011 (UTC)
- Epeefleche, throwing around words like edit-warring when another editor is trying to help improve the article and keep it within Wikipedia standards is not productive. I would appreciate if you stop throwing around such words as an attempt to intimidate other editors into stopping from editing according to guidelines. Thank you.
