Merge

[edit]
The following discussion is closed and will soon be archived: outcome was: merged/redirected

Hi. I propose to merge and redirect this title (Aghavrin Mass Rock) to the article on the townland in which the Mass rock is located (Aghavrin#Places_of_interest). I propose this, in all honesty, as an alternative to deletion. As, after some time (years) of searching and reviewing, I cannot find any sources which establish the independent notability of this mass rock. There is nothing in the sources (an unpublished MA thesis and the directory-style entry in the Archaeological Inventory of County Cork) to indicate that this Mass rock is any more notable than the many dozens of others covered in the same sources. And the many hundreds (thousands?) of Mass rocks found elsewhere in Ireland. Thoughts welcome. Obvs. Guliolopez (talk) 17:27, 1 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Bump. Any other thoughts or concerns? If not, I'll go ahead with this merge/redirect shortly. Guliolopez (talk) 20:16, 22 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Resolved. OK. As no other thoughts have been forthcoming, I've (already) merge and (now) redirected this title to Aghavrin#Places of interest. Guliolopez (talk) 20:17, 26 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
