It was determined that this article was to be deleted. Why was it brought back? Sovex (talk) 00:46, 12 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

It's an established term for an established genre. There are 64.800 google results. Why was it deleted? --Ada Kataki (talk) 01:20, 12 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Notability could not be established. No sources other than hearsay and original research provided any proof of the use of the term. Most google results were merely a mirror of the original page.
Since notability could not be established, it was recommended for deletion. Subsequently, it was agreed that it was not a notable enough term to be given its own article, and was deleted per Wikipedia guidelines. It's against policy to repost an article that was deleted, which is why I've recommended this for Speedy Deletion. Sovex (talk) 23:50, 12 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Suggested Redirect

[edit]

I suggest the page being redirected to List_of_post-industrial_music_genres_and_related_fusion_genres#Aggrotech . This section provides a description of this type of music, without unnecessarily giving it its own article. It also provides much more information than Industrial Music, the article that Aggrotech currently redirects to. Sovex (talk) 00:07, 13 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

New redirect

[edit]

This should be redirected to the aggrotech section of the electro-industrial page, where it is most relevant. Aryder779 (talk) 02:30, 3 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Requested move

[edit]

Aggrotech is now covered substantially at Electro-industrial#Aggrotech, rather than at List_of_post-industrial_music_genres_and_related_fusion_genres#Aggrotech. The redirect should point there. Aryder779 (talk) 15:20, 13 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy Close Changing the target of a redirect is the job of WP:RFD Redirects for discussion and not WP:RM. --70.24.178.195 (talk) 18:06, 13 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
also the new target is called Post-industrial music genres and related fusion genres. --70.24.178.195 (talk) 18:07, 13 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Could the following text:

[[Category:Protected redirects]]

...please be replaced with the following text:

{{R fully protected}}

...so that the redirect is is put into the category via a tranclusion in an Rcat template rather than a category transclusion? Thanks! Steel1943 (talk) 06:51, 19 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]
