[edit]in Host mimicry by brood parasites section I changed birds image with eggs:--Taranet (talk) 10:19, 13 March 2013 (UTC)
- Yes, much better - I made the eggs image from a pretty terrible source on Commons for Camouflage, which certainly overlaps unavoidably with Aggressive mimicry; perhaps the article should say a bit more on that overlap. Chiswick Chap (talk) 12:41, 13 March 2013 (UTC)
Name of article
[edit]Are all of these forms 'Aggressive'? Why not move the article to Mimicry (biology) or Mimicry (animals)?--Taranet (talk) 10:21, 13 March 2013 (UTC)
- Because there's already a detailed article at Mimicry. This article certainly needs work, and should definitely be limited to forms which meet the title 'aggressive mimicry'; other materials can be merged to Mimicry or deleted.
- By the way, not sure that "Batesian-Wallacean" is in use in the real world, or even if it is, that we should be using it.
- I hope to find time to help on this shortly. Meanwhile, good luck! Chiswick Chap (talk) 12:39, 13 March 2013 (UTC)
