Assessment

[edit]

The article is long enough to be classified as start-class, but it is not up to C-class level yet. The article contains unverified material, particularly about his education and early life, none of which appears to be cited. The article reads more like a CV/resumé, which is not usually considered an appropriate encyclopaedic style (please see the essay at Wikipedia:Wikipedia is not the place to post your résumé). There are also issues over his name: he calls himself Muhammad Afzal Upal in the paper linked in citation 5, and is cited as M.A. Upal in the article, yet his first name is not included or mentioned. Finally, there appears to be a tendency to use technical language, which may be inaccessible to a casual reader; one example being: "pioneered a knowledge-rich agent-based social simulation technique for simulating the development of complex cultural beliefs", which is particularly jargon-heavy (see WP:JARGON). --Noswall59 (talk) 18:30, 3 July 2014 (UTC).[reply]
