"The earliest evidence of archaeological activity anywhere ..." or "The earliest archaeological evidence of activity anywhere ...." A correction might help, the preceding section talks of archaeology as being in its infancy on the continent. Also, since there isn't a whole lot of archaeology in Africa, what there is is sometimes difficult to find. Perhaps links to other Wikipedia pages <such as : http://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/Gobero : > might help with navigation?
