Trying to fix the problems

[edit]

@FoCuSandLeArN: : I see you had put the "multiple issues" template on the article, and indeed it had multiple issues. I've been trying to fix them as best as I could. FYI : this person is indeed somewhat notable - at least in France - but less as a singer than as a media personality. The article was totally promotional and seemed to present her as some sort of "international" pop star, which she is definitely not : the page had to be rewritten so the readers would understand the true reasons of her notability (and by the way, she is Tina Turner's daughter-in-law). @Jean-Jacques Georges: I agree. Merci pour votre travaille, FoCuS contribs; talk to me! 20:31, 25 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]
You're welcome. As for the info that she released her first single in 1998, that should be checked. Maybe she recorded a song (was it ever released ?), but as far as I know, her first record came out in 2002, after she had become famous with her appearance in Loft Story. Well, year after year, she has managed some degree of notability in France. But it does not imply she is in any way an "international singer, songwriter, author, actress and TV Star", as previously mentioned (she married Tina Turner's son, but that does not make her an international star, does it?). As a matter the fact, what little notability she contrived comes mainly from her provoking attitude and controversial statements in the media (social networks, television, you name it...). --Azurfrog (talk) 16:45, 26 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Exactly. To put it bluntly, she is mostly known in France as a media personality with a very big mouth. She happens - after she found some degree of fame on French real TV - to have had a relationship with Coolio and to have married Tina Turner's son : this adds to her fame because French audiences found it quite surprising, but it does not make her famous per se. I've tweaked the article a little to remove some obvious grammatical and other problems, and will AGF on her notability in France. The article still needs improving though. Ghmyrtle (talk) 13:45, 24 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]
