I just had AMC.0 R2.0 dropped in my lap this afternoon. Lots of changes (incorporates ECN001). They got rid of the HH/FH definitions (now have 3 sizes x 2 widths), and a few other major changes. Hopefully later in the week I will have some time to update this article. — RevRagnarok Talk Contrib 01:05, 19 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Reorganization of this webpage to give readers a quicker overview

[edit]

Hi,

this nice wiki about AMC (Advanced Mezzanine Card) was created some time ago and should be refreshed.

PICMG is already contacted to add a photo of the 6 different form factors of the AMC PCB.

Also the different sizes of the AMC front panel will be added.

The connector session describes the connectors of an ATCA AMC carrier. Who can move this to the ATCA wiki?

Instead the AMC plug/edge connector should be described.

Wanted to add ATCA section similar to the MTCA section.

Therefore a new MicroTCA wiki has to be generated.

Any comment on this plan is very welcome.

Best regards Vollrath
