Merge

[edit]

Very few of the articles linked from here comprise much more than a paragraph or two and none have significant references. I'm not seeing how they warrant separate articles. A good article on the Academy and it's sections could be written here with those other articles merged in, any objections?--RadioFan (talk) 13:36, 12 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I completely agree. Actually, I don't find any sources to support the notability of this organization. I would expect that such a model would garner more attention in education-oriented journals. WikiDan61ChatMe!ReadMe!! 15:34, 7 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
As for notability of the organisation as a whole, these mentions in Times Higher Education should help: From 'discipline units' to 'virtual hubs', HEA ponders a slimmed-down future, Decades of work at risk, just when we need it most, HEA cuts threaten future of subject centres There are more, a search on that site for Higher Education Academy gives 100 matches, checking a few samples suggests they are relevant. Current status of HEA/ Merger

[edit]

These changes https://wiki.riteme.site/w/index.php?title=Higher_Education_Academy&type=revision&diff=834225654&oldid=827070094 make the article look like the HEA ceased to operate.

Their website and twitter account shows business as usual. Whatever shape this organization takes post the ongoing merger, the current description is rather misleading. Mootros (talk) 00:19, 21 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]
