Does the citation (2) actually show that this was the "beginning" of cartoon violence? BelchingFox (talk) 00:49, 21 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

This article worked very well in discussing the debates against violence in cartoons. To improve on this I would suggest discussing violence being used in more modern cartoons as well. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.62.206.203 (talk) 17:01, 23 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

This article is an absolute mess

[edit]

Not only is it written as if a child wrote it, in stilted sentences, the concepts are jumbled up. At one point a mention is made of "the teens," meaning the era from 1913-1919 when early cartoons were made, but said their development was slow due to expense, then says that teenagers weren't interested, making airing cartoons on television less profitable. Then it goes on to describe the 30s, 50s, etc. I hope the problem here is clear without the need for further explanation. If not, maybe you aren't qualified to edit articles. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.72.206.153 (talk) 03:50, 19 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]
