[edit]Adhishthana is realizing with certainty that the Tibetan Dzogchen technical term 'gzhi' (Wylie) often rendered in English with the semantic field of: "ground", "base", "foundation" etc. is not only a rendering of the Sanskrit Ashraya (evidence: Yogachara & Dudjom, et.al. 1991) but also of Adhishthana (evidence: Sadhana).

Incomprehensible
[edit]This article is a *mess* -- Despite copious citation, it is full of idiosyncratic jargon and buzzwords. Can we please try to make it a bit more accessible for the non-expert? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.139.12.24 (talk) 02:18, 4 January 2010 (UTC)
B9 is -- again -- up to his/her/its old tricks; and -- again-- just reverting any other editor's efforts to clean up after him/her/it. I undid the latest revert of an attempt to clean up some of the deliberately, willfully obscure and opaque nonsense but rather than get into -- another -- fruitless edit war, I'm asking that a third party take a look. Thanks 65.46.253.42 (talk) 00:04, 7 January 2010 (UTC)
Re your use of the {{3O}} template: The 3O template has been removed because the dispute was not also listed at WP:3O; merely inserting the template does not request a Third Opinion. If you still desire a Third Opinion, please follow the instructions at WP:3O to list it there, but let me note in passing that the foregoing comments do not make clear whether the dispute is over the content of the article, per se, or over user conduct. 3O is for content opinions only; Wikiquette alerts is for user conduct opinions. Merge from Cucumber blessing (Implemented)
[edit]The article Cucumber blessing briefly describes an adhisthana practiced in Shingon Buddhism. Said article has been a neglected stub for many years, which suggests it does not warrant a separate article. I propose it be merged into Adhiṣṭhāna#Shingon Buddhism as a subsection describing this particular adhisthana. Scyrme (talk) 23:25, 19 June 2021 (UTC)
- Since no objections were raised, I've now implemented this merge. Scyrme (talk) 18:51, 4 July 2021 (UTC)
