House plan
[edit]Is this house based on the Hall and parlor house layout? --T.woelk (talk) 20:58, 4 September 2009 (UTC)
I would like a citation on the blunt assertion that Adam Thoroughgood did not build the house. Family tradition is that he served as a bricklayer to earn his passage and learn valuable skills, and that he built the house - possible an older part of it? For the statement to be so emphatic, I would like to have evidence, reason, or even tradition disputing the name and builder of the house. Thank you. 2601:3C4:380:DA50:519C:193F:8B00:DA90 (talk) 23:18, 7 October 2019 (UTC) AMc
