Blackpool
[edit]Hrm. My Blackpool book lists a Fred Heywood who was at the club between 1902–03 and 1904–05, and I assumed it was the same Heywood who appeared during the 1907–08 season, maybe having returned for a second spell with the club, but this article leads me to think otherwise. I think I added him to the list of Blackpool F.C. players due to his appearance on AllFootballers. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Dudesleeper (talk • contribs)
Number 8 shirt
[edit]"He made his debut for Blackpool, in the number-8 shirt, on 30 November 1907". How is this possible? Numbers weren't worn on shirts until 1928, and then only as a one-off until 1939. Goonerak (talk) 11:25, 20 December 2013 (UTC)
