Hi,
I really don't understand why my submission keeps getting rejected, and every time reviewers come up with new reasons for why it doesn't meet Wikipedia's requirements. But OK, let's address your specific objections:
1. You said that my submission's references do not adequately show the subject's notability and lack to demonstrate significant coverage (not just mere mentions) about the subject in published, reliable, secondary sources that are independent of the subject. I strongly disagree: my references do include significant mentions and even feature articles about the subject.
Nine Questions with Zach and Adam Best, October, 2105, 417 Magazine - This is a feature article highlighting Adam Best and his brother as creators of Fansided, one of the most popular sports news outlets in the country.
Time Inc. Acquires FanSided, a Sports and Entertainment Digital Network, May 26, 2015, Sports Illustrated - You might have interpreted this as a mere mention. However, as a founder of Fansided, Adam Best's inclusion in this article is a crucial part of the news itself.
If for some reason they are not presented correctly in my article, or if I failed to present additional details that I should have, I hope you can help me do so adequately.
2. Wikipedia's notability guidelines say that a person is considered to be notable when: "The person is regarded as an important figure or is widely cited by peers or successors." Adam Best is cited on a weekly basis by some of the most prominent national print and online publications in the United States. Here are just some of the recent articles that cited Adam Best's commentary in the past two months:
The Washington Examiner - March 6, 2018 The Drum - March 5, 2018 The Mercury News - February 25, 2018 Bustle - February 23, 2018 NJ.com - February 21,208 Patch.com - February 7, 2018 Vibe - February 6, 2018 PopCulture.com - February 6, 2018
3. Wikipedia's notability guidelines say that a person is considered to be notable when: "The person has created or played a major role in co-creating a significant or well-known work or collective body of work. In addition, such work must have been the primary subject of an independent and notable work (for example, a book, film, or television series, but usually not a single episode of a television series) or of multiple independent periodical articles or reviews."
Adam Best is a co-founder and the former CEO of one of the most popular sports, news, and entertainment networks in the U.S. - Fansided. Moreover, he is also the Founder and CEO of 50 States of Blue, a national hub for local news and progressive politics from all 50 states and the District of Columbia. Just these two creations are more than notable-enough in my opinion. I'm sure that there are thousands of articles on Wikipedia dedicated to people who are much less known and play a much less influential role in our society. So I really don't understand why you nominated Adam Best's article for deletion.
I hope that, as an experienced editor, you can help me make the necessary edits to my Adam Best article, so that it is finally accepted and published. Hundreds of thousands of people read Adam Best's commentary every day, and they deserve to know who he is. A Wikipedia page about Adam Best would be a helpful source of information to those people.
